What's Kulbhushan story? Is the current bill an NRO?

A massively simplistic view by opposition who wants Pakistan to be penalised by international courts now.

We all know how in previous tenure in 2017 Kulbhushan case was taken to ICJ and India appealed against death sentence. Pakistan govt at that time should have went against taking the case but allowed. It was 2017.

ICJ stopped the execution in May 2017 and the case was taken further. Then ICJ asked Pakistan to give right of appeal and consular access to Kulbhushan.

Right of appeal does not mean right of release. It just means Kulbhushan can use a Pakistani lawyer in a Pakistani court to appeal his sentence that was given by military court. Do you really think our courts will go against death penalty of Indian terrorist?

If in 2017 Pakistan had rejected ICJ jurisdiction and not taken the case there, then now Pakistan wouldn't have to fulfill the verdict. You can't go both ways, can you? If Pakistan doesn't full fill ICJ verdict then repercussions would be huge such as our treaty with India on water could be at risk.

So those who are against the bill are unknowingly wishing bigger harm to the country. This is exactly what India wants Pakistan to do. Also, remember, A living Kulbhushan is better for Pakistan's case then a dead Kulbhushan
