'Second wave' of corona virus: Sindh CM Murad Ali Shah's test positive, decision to close schools 'not made yet' 



For the fourth day in a row, more than 2,000 people have been diagnosed with corona virus in Pakistan on Monday, while Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah, who was most affected by COD 19 in the country, also tested positive.


In the last 24 hours, 2,128 people have been diagnosed with corona, according to figures released by the NCOC, the agency set up to prevent code 19.


During this period, 19 people have died from this global epidemic while the recovery of 599 patients has also been confirmed. A total of 359,032 cases and 7,160 deaths have been reported in the country so far.


The total number of victims is 155,680 in Sindh, followed by 110,450 in Punjab who have been diagnosed with code 19 so far. The most active cases are also in these two provinces.


A key meeting of the National Coordinating Committee (NCC) in Pakistan on Monday will review the spread of the virus in educational institutions after the second wave of corona in the country and consult with the provinces regarding the closure of schools.
