Maryam Nawaz: You can talk to the army but in front of the people, not in secret

Maryam Nawaz Sharif said that she can talk to all 'stakeholders

PML-N Vice President Maryam Nawaz has said that her party is ready to talk to the army and talks can be considered from the platform of the opposition alliance PDM but the condition is that the PTI The government should be sent home.

Maryam Nawaz is currently in the region in connection with the upcoming elections in Gilgit-Baltistan.

In an interview with the BBC, Maryam Nawaz claimed that the Establishment had contacted her close associates for talks.

"The establishment has contacted many people around me, but no one has contacted me directly," he said.

"We do not salute those who trample on the votes of the people."

"I am sure Nawaz Sharif would not have named the military leadership without solid evidence."

Asked whether she was ready to hold talks with the current leadership of the Pakistan Army, Nawaz Sharif said, "The start of talks from the PDM platform could be considered provided the fake government is sent home." It should be noted that the current leadership of the Pakistan Army was accused by PML-N leader and former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif that the Army Chief was directly responsible for removing him from the PM's post. He called it a "conspiracy" and said it involved Lieutenant General Faiz, the head of Pakistan's ISI.

The PML-N vice-president said, "The army is my institution. We will definitely talk, but within the ambit of the constitution." If anyone tries to get out of the craze and play, the (scope) laid down by the constitution will be discussed, and that matter will now be in front of the people, not in secret.

"I am not against the institution but I think this government will have to go home if we are to move forward," he said.

Maryam Nawaz Sharif further clarified that she can talk to all the 'stakeholders' but when asked if she was ready to talk to the government, she said that' dialogue is now Pakistan's It will happen to the people, and it is happening, and it is happening so well that whatever the forces are and the fake government they are nervous. And they are so nervous that they do not understand how to react and in their panic they are making such mistakes that the intellect is amazed. The biggest stakeholders in this country are the people.

Maryam Nawaz said that the politics of PML-N is not going to a dead end. "I think the people who tried to make this artificial thing are going to the dead end. Wherever we are going, whether it is Gujranwala, Karachi, Quetta or Gilgit-Baltistan, the same statement echoes everywhere. Respect the vote and don't make the state over the state.

"People have seen evidence of this everywhere, it's not a dead end, it's the way it is now, and it's the way to the rule of law," he added.

On the fact that Bilawal Bhutto has said that he is waiting for the evidence of army interference in the elections by Nawaz Sharif, Maryam Nawaz said that 'Mian Sahib has spoken later and the evidence is the people themselves. The reality of Shaukat Aziz Siddiqui, Judge Arshad Malik and Don Lex is in front of you. When you do not extend the tenure of a chief, they fabricate something like Don Lex.

He said that PPP has its own position, PML-N has its own position which Mian Sahib has made clear.

Reacting to a press release issued by the Army Public Relations Department following the pressure exerted by the military authorities on IG Sindh to arrest her husband Capt (R) Safdar in Karachi and its investigation, Maryam "The public has not received an answer from this press release, there are more questions," he said. You are telling the nation that some emotional officers did this in response to public pressure. What was the public reaction, the fake people who filed the case and then the plaintiff ran away, you call the pressure of these three or four people public pressure.

He said that responding to public reaction was not the job of the institutions as per the constitution but the job of the elected government. The job of organizations is to fulfill their professional responsibilities and not to show emotion.

"Institutions do not work with emotions, and their job is to fulfill their constitutional and professional responsibilities. Emotions have nothing to do with it, and if someone really did it out of emotion, then it is for the organization And it is a great moment of reflection for Pakistan. I don't think it happened, some junior officers were made scapegoats, that's wrong.

Talking about the in-house change or minus Imran Khan formula, he said, "Minus Imran Khan will be seen. I will not say anything more about it but we will see when the time comes." It is a sin to talk to this government. In order to get this country out of the crisis, Imran Khan and the government will have to go home and hold new transparent elections and a representative government of the people will come. "In my view, Imran Khan and PTI are not a big issue because I do not consider them political people. My party and I are competing with the thinking that they represent, they represent everything that must be eradicated from Pakistan.

Therefore, I think that any alliance with them (PTI) would be tantamount to pardoning them, which in my view is not a legitimate thing. In my view, now is the time to hold them accountable, not to join them. This is not the time for an electoral alliance with them. Now that they are weak. However, talks can be held with other parties. On the question of whether the PML-N will support the government in legislating to make Gilgit-Baltistan a province, Maryam Nawaz said, "As they have done other projects of Nawaz Sharif. But they have made that effort by sticking their plaque here but people know, they know whose plan it was. I hope that when the people of Gilgit-Baltistan trust the PML-N and Sher, this province will also become Muslim, but with that comes the constitutional reform that is needed, namely to give its share under the NFC award. The N-League will also see.

He said, "They will not bring this issue in the parliament. The PML-N will also do this because it is just their election promise."

In response to the question that she talks more about Nawaz Sharif in her speeches but less about public issues. On this, Maryam Nawaz said, "Everywhere I go, I see supporters of Nawaz Sharif, and if I do not tell them what they have come to hear, what Pakistan wants to hear, then what else can I say."

"I don't even want to name Imran Khan, but he represents everything that should not happen in this country. So when we see flour, sugar, gas, electricity talking about being expensive, who else should I name if I don't mention Imran Khan. And the biggest public problem is that their vote has been stolen. They make things disappear from the market by themselves and then they bring them back to the market at a higher price, they take notice and things become more expensive.

"The economic situation cannot be improved by these incompetents, it happens when you steal people's votes," he said.
